Monthly Women’s Circle

A women's talking circle is a place to come together and share.

Share space away from everyday responsibilities. Share experiences. Share a chance to be listened to and witnessed in those experiences. To be with likeminded souls who wanted a deeper connection with others than they might find elsewhere.

This circle has been running since September 2014 and welcomes those of 18 and older. It's not necessary to speak - listening is a very important part of being in a circle. We often use listening partnerships, which is where we go into pairs to talk and this can sometimes feel like a more comfortable place to start sharing.

Usually Monday nearest the New Moon.

7.30-9.30pm at Tessa's house in Caversham (near a bus route)

FREE parking

Upcoming dates:

10th Anniversary event 21st September

7th October, 4th November, 2 December 2024

What happens varies. It usually runs something like this:

  • Introductions and couple of words for how your week has been

  • Relaxation (please feel free to bring a light blanket or shawl to get cosy!)

  • Circle time - I start with a different theme to begin the sharing

  • Closing circle - a moment to reflect and integrate.

Please feel free to bring nibbles for sharing!

Many thanks to all of the partners that make it possible for us to meet (e.g. by taking care of the little ones).
