Rest and Resilience Nest & Menopause Circle
Join us for this much-asked-for nurturing session.
Deeply rest, replenish your resources through somatic practices and share your experiences in a supportive, confidential space.
Open to anyone in perimenopause or post-menopause. (Perimenopause often takes 10 years and early onset can be in your thirties. If you're navigating postnatal AND perimenopause stages together or have experienced a medically-induced menopause you are most welcome too.)
Saturdays 11 January, 8 February, 15 March, (none in April), 10 May, 7 June, 12 July
6.30-8.30pm at Church House, Central Caversham
(Discount when you sign up for three consecutive circles)
We all need more rest, but it can be particularly challenging to carve out time in perimenopause with juggling ALL the balls!
If you're feeling:
exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious (also about things that never used to affect you), experiencing insomnia, brain fog or other perimenopause symptoms, join us for some time out for yourself.
Rest can be radical so enjoy a Yoga Nidra with restorative positions, with bolsters and blankets to make your very own cosy delicious nest.
After resting, join a beautifully-held space with Tessa hosting the talking circle where you can share how this transition time is going for you. Talking circles act like a safety valve to reduce feelings of isolation and to feel seen in your own experience, whatever it is. The circle time will start and finish with nervous-system friendly practices that you can take away to use in everyday life. Sometimes it is hard to find spaces to talk about perimenopause symptoms and life changes without lots of advice being thrown at you. Unless you explicitly ask for solutions, this will be a no-fix zone!
Enjoy hormone-supporting snacks and teas.
We hope that you'll join us each month to develop a habit of self-care and a community of people around you who get it. Also welcome to come as and when you can. Enjoy a reduced cost if you sign up for three consecutive circles.
