'Period Talk' resource kit
Knowing where to start with preparing your daughter for her period can be tricky. Perhaps you had a negative experience or just nothing at all when you had your menarche (first period). You know you want to make it different for your daughter, but now sure what to do when it wasn’t modelled to you.
Did you know that nearly half of girls in a 2017 UK study didn’t know what was happening when their period started?! They were scared and confused. In this resource kit, you’ll get 10 resources to help you feel confident in preparing your daughter:
6 handouts with activities (that you can do together that gently prompt discussion around periods and self-care)
15-minute yoga sequence (to model the benefits of movement in general, specific postures to help period cramps and partner yoga just for fun)
15-minute relaxation (to show her resting is okay too)
5-minute bellydance video (to introduce movement to work with big emotions)
12-minute video for you with 3 top tips to support your daughter.
You can use each of the resources as many times as you wish and have lifetime access so you can use them again if you have another daughter!
